He became journalism officer in April 2021 and program officer for Knight&#8217;s Miami program in April 2022.&nbsp;His work focuses on strengthening Miami\u2019s tech community to create lasting opportunities and change for the city\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"rich-text\">\n<p>Prior to joining Knight, Belgrad helped grow Pacific54, a boutique digital marketing agency in Miami, serving startups, universities, banks and non-profits. A self-taught marketer and hobbyist glassblower, Belgrad started his career at a B2B SaaS startup in San Francisco and has spent time building an art studio in Colorado.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"rich-text\">\n<p>Originally from the Chicago area, Belgrad earned his bachelor\u2019s degree at the University of Miami.
